David's First Month of Life

Now that David's been in our family for a month, here are a few pictures in review. I think he's growing by the minute.

Intel Party

Each summer Intel gives it's employees a big summer bash complete with dinner (this year's theme was a luau), swimming, lots of give-aways, pony rides, miniature golf, bouncy toys for the kids, crafts, games, etc, etc. Here are the luau girls: (Kate, Brooke, and Mike's mom Ellen)

These parties have a famous really long slip and slide. On their first ride down, Zach and Nicholas look a little nervous, Brooke is hanging on for dear life, and Mike's concern is that the water is a little cold:

The boys really enjoyed it and even went down several times by themselves.

Mike even got to play some volleyball with his coworkers:

Nicholas' Birthday

Since David was born the day before Nicholas' 7th birthday, Nicholas' party had to be postponed a few weeks.
We went to a park and the kids played some "noodle tag" and some baseball,

and some tug-o-war,

and even the dads joined in against the kids!

I'm trying to keep up with the boys with David and Brooke in the stroller...

Zach got a new bike this summer and the boys are spending a lot of time riding around the neighborhood.

David Lee Nelson joins our family

David was born on July 22, 2008 weighing 7 pounds 11 ounces.
