April 2018

Zach's football coach wanted his team to participate in a spring sport to get in shape for football. So Zach tried track for the first time.  He threw discus and shotput with the other linemen.

March 2018

I got a phone call from the school saying Gabe had fallen in PE and hit his lip on the cement stairs.
They said I should probably come get him.  I thought that was odd since school only had 15 minutes left and he could just come home on the bus.

But I picked him up and thought it would be best to head to the ER to get stitches.
And that's what the office lady explained later that he should probably get stitches, but didn't want to scare me over the phone.

The ER decided on this bandage instead, which only stayed on for 4 days and now he has a scar.
Look how swollen his lip is! He was a real trooper.

David's whole team this time.

He loved playing with his buddies Ethan Brown and Porter Braun.

So we tried again later... still grumpy.

Checking out the Tillamook Air Museum.

Our campground (Cape Kiwanda) had a great clubhouse/room to hang out in.

The kids LOVED this enormous sand hill! It was quite a feat to get to the top.
And see all the cars on the beach? Had a great time laughing at many of them who got stuck (and then the guys would help push them out).

We made it to the top!

Here's Gabe working his way up (and down) multiple times. That view!

Most of us camped, Terri's one sister joined us just for the day.
