Mike and I went to Cannon Beach for his birthday getaway while the Nissinens watched our kids.

Christmas Eve snow!

Gramma is usually in charge of Christmas Eve and acting out the nativity, so this year we were on our own.
Brooke is Mary, Lilly is Jesus, Nicholas and Zach are wisemen, David is an angel, Gabe might be a sheep.

Thanks to cheap tickets from the library summer reading, we went to a Blazers game. 

And we were definitely nosebleed! I was surprised to see people actually bought tickets for standing-only behind us.

We joined other families in the ward to sing and play some Christmas carols at a nursing home.
