June

Mike surprised me with a trip to Vegas! (At first I wasn't happy about it, but eventually warmed up to it.) A limo picked us up from the airport.  We went with Steven and Cindy Long, Aaron and Terri Nissinen, and Dave and Gabe Jensen.

We stopped at the Swatch store and each got a Swatch!

I love mine and wear it all the time!

Shopping mall in Caesar's Palace

We saw 2 performances: Terry Fator the ventriloquist and Celine Dion!

Here she is on a pedestal singing "My Heart Will Go On" with water pouring down around her.
Her voice moved me to tears more than once!

I couldn't help but get a t-shirt.

The guys posing with this big flamingo on The Linq Promenade.

At the school talent show, Sarya and Brooke performed a gymnastics routine they created.

And Brooke played The Entertainer on the piano.

Gabe on the first day of preschool as a 3-yr-old, and the last day of preschool.
Zach, 7th grade, dressed as Genghis Khan

Zach turns 13!!

For his dessert, he wished for chocolate chip cookie dough, which I shaped into a "Z"

He got a drone, phone and junior mints. As well as this mask, apparently.

Leaving Gramma's house one day and Gabe is helping walk her dogs, Lilly and Annie.

David working on a project at school with classmates Hannah and Jacob.

Gabe all ready for church and totally cute!

My good friend, Jen Kinross, got married to Aaron Allen on June 15th in the Portland temple.

A week before school got out, Nicholas flew to Nebraska to spend 2 1/2 weeks with his cousin, Spencer.  They went to EFY in Independence, Missouri.
On the last day of school, June 16th, Mike and I flew to Salt Lake for my nephew, Brandon's wedding the next day.
We took some time to hike the Y.

We made it to the top!
Ben, Becca, Rachel, Mike, and me.

The view never gets old.

Brandon and Ariel are married! Timpanogos temple.

The bunk beds in our last trailer were small and our big boys didn't fit too well anymore, so on to a bigger trailer! 36 feet. And now to get another suburban with a bigger engine. Sigh.

We had to try it out right away with the 3 little kids at Seaside.
Nicholas was still in Nebraska and Zach had left for Washington DC with Ellen and Carolyn for a week.

David, me, Brooke, and Gabe

Playing Uno.

Roasting marshmallows.

Zach headed home on the plane with his Gramma.
1 year (minus 2 days) before she passed away.

Cure JM (juvenile myositis) fundraiser dinner with Nissinens and Browns.
This fundraiser is important to us because one of Mike's good friends/coworker, Damon Smedley,
had a son who died of this disease.

David and Gabe having some summer fun with Trevor and Ethan Brown.
