Which is Which?

So which one weighs 25 pounds and which weighs 20 pounds? Brooke still loves to hold David on her lap. Good thing he's heavy enough now that she can't just shove him off when she's done!

This little guy loves his left pointer finger! And yes, he's only 20 pounds.

Beware of the Beehives!

So the Beehives (12-13 year old girls) wanted to do some service for our family by coming over to clean our house and play with the kids last night. "Duck, Duck, Goose" got a little out of hand and Nicholas ended up in the Emergency Room with a sprained wrist (they weren't sure about his elbow so that got wrapped too). Really though, it was Nicholas being a little crazy and purely an accident. I don't blame the Beehives at all.

Last but not Least...

Since David slept through Halloween, I didn't get a picture of him until now. Here are some other pictures at 3 months old.

Another Successful Halloween

I'm not sure which picture is better, I'll let you decide...
Nicholas is Darth Vader, Brooke is Winnie the Pooh Honey Pot (without the hat/lid), and Zach is Superman.

"Pink Elephants"

The mama elephant at our zoo just had a baby. Isn't it adorable?

I just can't help but think of Dumbo when I see this little guy and start singing the "Pink Elephants" song...
I guess the zoo is getting ready for Halloween by the looks of this huge carved pumpkin!

This is outside the new frog exhibit.

Chess Tournament

I took Zach (above) and Nicholas (below on right) to a Chess Tournament at the stake center. Zach was excited to go since he's an "expert" (I guess we let him win too much) but Nicholas wanted to just watch the other kids, but ended up playing. There were 9 games going at a time and they each played 5 games. I'm real proud of their excellent sportsmanship even when others were struggling with it. A good learning experience.

Portland Temple

Last Saturday our friends, Tim and Tonya, were sealed in the Temple. We decided to take the kids and walk around the Temple grounds while Mike went to the sealing. We keep talking about taking the kids to see the Temple and hadn't done it yet. It was a beautiful day and fun to talk to the kids about the special occasion for their friend, Blake, to be sealed to his parents.
